Who we are
China Tech Signals is an independent newsletter and intelligence platform covering Chinese technology developments for European founders, operators, and investors. This website is operated as a sole proprietorship. For any privacy-related questions, contact us at hello@chinatechsignals.com.
What data we collect
We collect only what is necessary to operate the service:
- Email address — when you subscribe to the newsletter
- Persona / role — optional, selected from a dropdown at signup (e.g. "Founder", "Investor")
- Subscription status and confirmation date
- UTM parameters — if you arrive via a tracked link, to understand where subscribers come from
- Basic analytics — page views, referrers (no personal data, no cross-site tracking)
We do not collect names, phone numbers, payment details, or any other personal information.
How we use your data
- To send you the weekly newsletter and occasional updates
- To understand our audience and improve the product
- To manage your subscription (confirmation, unsubscribe)
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
Third-party services
We use the following services to operate:
- Resend — email delivery. Your email address is stored and processed by Resend to send newsletters. Resend Privacy Policy

Cookies
This website does not use tracking cookies or advertising cookies. We may use a minimal session cookie for functional purposes (e.g. confirming your subscription). No third-party advertising or analytics cookies are set.

- Request correction or deletion of your data

Data retention
